Travelling with your dog!

Travelling with your dog!

If you are planning a trip this Easter with your pup, you need to make sure you are loaded up with the essentials!

Whether it's a day trip, camping, or a staycation in a holiday rental, we have got everything you need to take your pup away.

First things first, if you’re going anywhere in the car with your dog, you need to make sure they’re safe. Whether it's a travel crate, seat protector for the back seats, or your dog likes to ride shotgun in the front seat you need to make sure they need to be secure. Our car seat belt attachment complies with UK law and can be easily attached to any harness, to keep your dog safe.

If you have a small dog or a miniature breed, we love the car booster seat - if you have a larger breed, or a big family and your dog is in the boot of the car. We've looked at lots of boot covers and this Boot and Bumper protector from Henry Wag is our favourite! This high-quality protector is made from fabric and has the quality to withstand dog claws, mud, sand, water and anything else you might throw at it. It keeps your boot clean and tidy and is comfortable for your dog at the same time.

If it is a long car ride, we recommend the pet remedy calming spray for those dogs that are anxious or can struggle with nausea. We also love the Life of Riley gingerbread treats which are great for pets that don’t get car sick!

It’s always important that dogs have access to clean water, and if you are out and about, we recommend a foldable water bowl, this way you can easily pack it into a backpack, or even a reasonably sized coat pocket!

It’s always helpful to have a towel ready if you’re out and about, whether it's a rainy walk or you’ve found muddy puddles, or you’ve taken a trip to the seaside, a drying bag, noodle mats or even our drying mitts, keep your dog dry on your travels with our massive range of drying products.

If you are going further afield and heading toward sunnier climes, why not check out our cooling products? We’ve got cooling mats, cooling vests and plenty of toys to keep your dog cool in the heat.

If you are staying out, whether it be camping or staying in a holiday rental, why not check out the new Henry Wag Alpine Travel Snuggle Bed - super lightweight and cosy your dog can find their safe space wherever you go. If you are heading somewhere cold, or looking to create a warm space for your dog, check out the new Walkster Glen lock Check & Sherpa Fleece Dog Blanket.
